Camp Raven Knob is the home camp for the Old Hickory Council, BSA. Since 1954, Scouts have made the trek to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains to enjoy mountain lakes, hiking trails, outstanding campfires, and so much more. With over 3,200 acres of wilderness complemented by great camping facilities, program facilities and a dedicated staff, camping at Raven Knob is a first-rate experience.
2025 Camp Fee: $435
1st Payment: March 3rd ($150)
2nd Payment: April 7th ($150)
3rd Payment: May 5th ($125)
The 1st payment must be paid before class registration can be completed. Class registration begins on March 11th, be sure to register early before classes fill up. The program grid will be available at Troop meetings. Full payment is required by June 9th.
Additional class fees, travel, and leader fees are not included in the fee shown. those fees will be assessed after camp.

Prerequisites
We will meet at the church at 6:30am on Sunday, June 22nd to load gear and collect forms so that we can depart around 7:30am.
WE ASK THAT EACH SCOUT AND ADULT PACK A BAGGED LUNCH AND WE WILL STOP OUTSIDE OF CAMP FOR LUNCH BEFORE ENTERING CAMP FOR OUR RESERVED CHECK-IN TIME.
Please review the Summer Camp Packing List to be sure you have all the essentials. If you plan to make purchases at the camp trading post, don't forget to bring money.
For our return trip home, we may stop for lunch in the South Boston area if possible. We will leave camp by 9:00am and return to the church by 2:00pm (or approximately 1:00pm if we don't stop for lunch). A more accurate arrival time will be announced before we leave for camp on Saturday.
Each Scout must have the following forms filled out and signed for camp. These may be turned in to Mr. Quinn at a Troop meeting prior to camp or at the church on the morning before we leave:
BSA medical forms Part A and Part B (parents must fill out new forms each year)
BSA medical form Part C (completed by a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant)
Current copy of Insurance Card (copies of front and back)
